We are registered under Societies Registration Act (Registered No. S / 24845 dated 05-05-1979). Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 (Reg. # 147120387 dt 22.11.1980). We are also registered under Section 12A of Income Tax Act, 1961, National Trust Act 1999 and Persons With Disability Act 1995

SPONSORING A CHILD

• Sponsor a child’s tuition fees (academics only) for 12 months at Rs.12000.00 yearly. This includes tuition fees, school uniform and shoes, books and other teaching materials.
• Sponsor a child’s tuition fees (academics), therapy costs (occupational and speech therapy, physiotherapy, psychological interventions), co-curricular works and entertainments for 12 months at Rs.30,000.00 yearly. This also includes school uniform and shoes, books and other teaching materials, recreational activities for the child, field trip costs, special sports training etc.
• Sponsor a child’s assessment and early intervention therapy for 10 days for Rs.2500/- This includes professional assessments and intervention of occupational therapist, speech therapist, physiotherapist, psychologist and special educator. Child name, photograph and bio-details will be provided to the donor within a month from receipt of donation.

FUNDING FOR A CAUSE

• We have our wish list ready for teaching materials, books and activity games, equipment for Sensory Integration Therapy, appropriate furniture for class rooms, computers for audio visual and interactive learning, expansion of facilities, and many more. Donate any amount and let us know where you would like to put your money.
• Donate to funds for expansion of our Vocational Unit. Our building terrace will be covered by light structures. Total Fund requirement for this is project is INR. 5.00 lakhs.
• Opening Out Patient Department (OPD) is our foremost agenda now. Fund requirement for fencing the ground floor open area by permanent grill, partitioning it for accommodating several patients and buying equipment is INR. 5.00 lakhs.
• Fire safety and surveillance system INR 50,000.00
• One Generator and A.C. machines for autism class-rooms Rs. 10.00 lakhs. India is hot, it is observed that children under Autism Spectrum Disorder feel better in a cooler atmosphere and their learning gets enhanced.
• Classroom furniture (specially designed and normal ones too), computers for audio visual learning , Teaching materials INR 2 lakhs
• Sponsor a child’s school bus expenses for Rs. 1000/- a month
• Donate to our corpus fund.
• Donate to meet the deficits for school bus running expenses ( which is Rs 10000/- a month)

Volunteering

Volunteers come to AHEAD for many reasons. Some come to help others and contribute to the community. Others come to learn about the children with special needs and to be a part of a team dedicated to providing the highest quality service to those who are differently able.

Commitment

All volunteer assignments have a minimum commitment of two consecutive months. Volunteers must serve at least three to four hours a day on the same day each week.
Orientation is a must for all volunteers!
All volunteer candidates must attend an orientation prior to placement. Bring your application and experience records to the orientation. If you're a student, you must provide a recommendation letter.
